Dr. Aamir Shah
Originally from Pakistan, Dr. Aamir Hassan Shah completed his PhD in the Xiangfeng Duan group at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in June 2024. His doctoral research focused on the fundamental interfacial electrochemistry of the hydrogen evolution reaction, aiming to enhance renewable energy technologies. In July 2024, he joined Professor Ted Sargent’s lab as a postdoctoral fellow, where he is pioneering research in plasma-hybrid electrocatalysis. Dr. Shah’s work advances cleaner energy solutions by exploring innovative catalytic methods, bridging nanotechnology and sustainable chemistry.
