Chen Peng obtained his bachelor’s degree from Wuhan University of Technology in 2018 and his PhD degree from Fudan University in 2023. His PhD studies focused on copper-based catalysts for electrochemical CO2/CO reduction, under the supervision of Prof. Gengfeng Zheng. From 2023 to 2025, he was an ARC-Grant Funded Researcher A at the University of Adelaide, Australia. Then, he joined Sargent’s group at Northwestern University as a Postdoctoral Scholar in June 2025, with research interests in CO2 electroreduction and reactive capture.
