Jonathan Shan

Jonathan graduated from the University of Toronto in 2024 with a B.A.Sc. in Materials Science & Engineering. At Toronto, he worked in the Aspuru-Guzik Group on machine learning-guided catalyst discovery for energy applications. At Northwestern, he is co-advised by the Wolverton and Sargent groups and is developing agentic AI systems for science to accelerate the discovery and optimization of next-generation energy materials.
